This honeymoon itinerary in Botswana is such a treat. Just think of having romantic sky beds and star baths on your private deck surrounded by sounds of the bush, this happens at Baines Camp.
As you are on a private concession you have the opportunity to take a walking safari as well as night drives. Water levels permitting, mokoro excursions are available seasonally.
Moving on to Chief's Camp, located on Chief's island within the Moremi Game Reserve, you will be treated to a private plunge pool with your accommodation. Game drives are fantastic all over Botswana and Chief's Island is no exception. It is at Chief's Camp that we had to remain in our accommodation for 40 minutes as an elephant hung around eating right outside!
The final stay during your Botswana Honeymoon is at Chobe National Park, the highlight when staying at Chobe Chilwero Camp will be the sundowner cruise along the Chobe River. Chobe is very well known for its large concertration of elephant and usually you will see great herds of elephant at the rivers edge.

Outline Itinerary

Day 1 - Travelling
Check in for your flight to Johannesburg.
Days 2-4 - Okavango Delta
Staying at: Sanctuary Baines' Campe
On arrival into Johannesburg you will connect through to Maun. The adventure begins as you take the light aircraft transfer to Baines Camp Airstrip. Time permitting, you will arrive in time for the afternoon activity. Over the next few days, travel out on game drives exploring the area in search for wildlife.
Days 5-7 - Moremi Game Reserve
Staying at: Sanctuary Chief's Camp
This morning you will be transferred to Chief's Camp. Explore the area during your game drives and mokoro trips (subject to sufficient water levels). Experience some of the best sunsets in world when on safari in Botswana!

Days 8-10 - Chobe River Front
Staying at: Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero Lodge
This morning, you will be transferred to the airstrip for the light aircraft transfer to Kasane. Once you have collected your bags, you will be transferred by road to Chobe Chilwero Lodge. Enjoy the next few days experiecing amazing wildlife, including some stunning birds.
Day 11 - Departure
It's time to bid farewell to Botswana as you are transferred back to Kasane Airport for your flight to Johannesburg. Connect in Johannesburg for your flight to the UK.
