​Kantabile Afrika - Aurari Camp

A small, intimate, unfenced tented camp located enticingly close to the Mara River where the wildebeest herds make their annual journey in search of greener pasture.

Aurari Camp only has 6 luxury suites, all with an indoor living space of 50 square meters offering all the usual amenities including, gourmet meals made to order, ensuite bathrooms with Double basins, 24-hour hot water system, ceiling fan with morning tea/coffee and offers a rejuvenating sanctuary amid the wilds of the Serengeti. This camp is ideally situated for those wanting to witness the mass river crossings that happen from July to October. 

Kantabile Afrika – was founded on the principle of doing things the right way — with integrity, purpose, and above all, harmony. Owned by local Tanzanians Vivian and Godwin Temba, the two camps’ locations were strategically selected in the “Migration Corridors” away from the more congested areas of the park and are built with intention and with great attention to detail. The owners state “maintaining the health of the land we love and the communities within it has always been a primary focus. In both our Aurari and Cherero camps, there are no permanent constructions—though our locations remain fixed, the tented structures can be moved entirely without leaving a lasting trace. We also see to it that our practices benefit the local economy”.
