Paradise on earth, Lily Beach is situated on a private island in the South East Ari Atoll with a 25-minute sea plane from Male Airport. The island is bordered by turquoise waters and powder soft sands. The house reef is located just ten metres offshore making it an excellent resort for diving and snorkelling. The surrounding waters are well known for attracting whale sharks throughout the year.
The 125 villas are very private and come with their own stretch of beach or overwater deck. The private pool villas come with their own plunge pool or opt for the family villa for extra space. The spacious villas are decorated in a contemporary style with many of them with an outdoor bathroom.
The hotel has two sides – the family friendly side featuring a children’s pool, kids club with outdoor & indoor play areas and a buffet restaurant. The other side is for the adults and relaxation – with an infinity pool, spa and a la carte restaurants.
The dive centre offers a range of dive experiences, excursions and courses with PADI certified staff. The house reef is home to coral fish, rays and sea turtles which is the perfect spot for snorkelling. Popular excursions include a semi-submarine trip onboard ‘Penguin’, sunset cruises, kayaking, wind surfing, pedal boarding, Segway Tours or yoga classes.
The island has a buffet restaurant, 3 a la carte restaurants and 3 bars. Lily Maa is the main buffet restaurant with its floor made up of white sand, so you really can go barefoot. There are often themed nights as well as a dedicated section for little ones. Tamarind serves Asian food in a romantic setting with signature dishes and breath-taking sunset views. Les Turquoise D’Aqua offers a five-course menu in a gourmet setting. Or watch your meal being cooked in front of your eyes over a cast iron griddle at Teppanyaki. For great views of the Indian ocean and live bands the Spirit Bar is the go-to place for a drink.
The all-inclusive resort offers affordable luxury.
