  • Covering nearly 110 acres, One & Only Reethi Rah is one of the largest resorts in the Maldives. The island is accessed by a 50-minute speedboat or a 20-minute private sea plane transfer from Male. The resort sits in the North Male Atoll fringed by 12 beaches. It houses 122 beach and overwater villas, the Maldives first PADI National Geographical dive centre and 3 swimming pools.

    The all-villa resort offers breath-taking sea views and provides direct access to the lagoon. It is one of the most spacious resorts in the Maldives. Designed by the Jean Michel Gathy the thatched roofed beach villas are discreetly spaced along the shore-line while the water villas are suspended over the sea on decks. Enjoy rain showers, personal butlers and two bicycles per villa. The Grand Sunset Residence resembles a palatial private home and has its own 50 metre swimming pool.

    The 12 pristine beaches provide plenty of sun lungers, cabanas and hammocks and tiki-style umbrellas for you to spend your days relaxing overlooking the Indian Ocean. There are 3 pools – an adult only pool, a family pool and a 30m lap pool. A selection of the villas has private pools.

    For families the 3 children’s clubs will keep the children busy. KidsOnly for ages 4 to 9 years offers supervised activities, OneTribe for ages 9 to 11 year which provides chill-out space and ClubOne for teens 12 years and up. Activities include cookery classes, sports and art classes.

    Additional leisure facilities include rock-climbing, football pitch, fitness centre, tennis and an art studio. For water-based activities visit Splash Water Sports Centre with a range of non-motorised and motorised water sports. Diving courses can be booked at the onsite PADI Gold Palm Resort Dive Centre. The One & Only Spa for ESPA treatments, a sauna, a vitality pool and yoga.

    There is an exceptional number of places to choose from for dining. Botanica, the garden restaurant serves local and healthy foods, Reethi offers French, Asian and Italian cuisines and Tapasake restaurant is the place for spectacular sunset views specialising in Japanese dishes. Rabarbaro serves Italian light bites for lunch on the beachfront and both Fanditha Bar & Rah Bar offers cocktails and light bites.
