  • Uganda is a small landlocked country in East Africa and has a rich and diverse landscape. From the snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains and immense Lake Victoria to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, the Queen Elizabeth and Murchison National Parks being the most well-known.

    Its abundant wildlife includes chimpanzees, mountain gorillas as well as rare birds. Murchison Falls National Park in the northwest is known for its 43m waterfall. In the southwest, Queen Elizabeth National Park’s wetlands, rainforests and rolling plains are home to big game such as lions and elephants and newly relocated Rothschild’s Giraffe.

    The bustling capital, Kampala, is home to the Uganda Museum which gives some insight into the country’s tribal heritage. On the shores of Africa’s largest lake - Lake Victoria lies Entebbe, a British colonial town with popular beaches and the Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary,
