A wonderful itinerary that combines both Kenya and Zanzibar and provides a great safari with the opportunity to see vast numbers of wildebeest (during the great migration) and zebra.
The are other animals such as cheetah, leopard, lion and elephant that also roam the Masai Mara National Reserve. Zanzibar is a perfect haven for simply doing nothing if you wish, alternatively travel out on a tour to explore the island.
Outline Itinerary

Day 1 - Travelling
Check in for your overnight flight to Nairobi.
Days 2-4 - Masai Mara
Staying at: Keekorok Lodge
After clearing immigration and arranging your visa, you will be collected early from Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transferred to Wilson Airport for a scheduled flight to the Masai Mara. The flight departs Nairobi at 1030hrs and arrives approximately at 1120hrs. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the lodge. Following lunch, there will be an afternoon game drive returning to lodge as the sun sets. If guests arrive in the afternoon, they will be transferred to the lodge.
The Masai Mara National Reserve is famous for its huge migration of animals, traditionally the great migration of wildebeest occurs between July and October. Although the Migration largely dependant on the onset of the rains. Keekorok Lodge is located in the southern section of the Masai Mara National Reserve and offers traditional-style accommodation.
Over the next few days, rise at dawn with tea and coffee, depart for an early morning game drive before breakfast, catching the animals before the heat of the day sets in. Enjoy the rest of the morning at leisure, followed by an afternoon game drive, returning to the lodge as the sun sets.

Days 5-11 - Tanzania
Staying at: Diamonds Mapenzi Beach Club
Following an early morning game drive and breakfast, guests will be transferred to the nearest airstrip for a scheduled flight to Nairobi. The flight departs Mara at 1145hrs and arrives into Nairobi at approximately 1245hrs. Upon arrival, guests will be met and transferred to the airport for the flight to Zanzibar. On arrival into Zanzibar you will be met and transferred by road to the hotel.
Whilst staying on the spice island of Zanzibar you can just relax and soak up the atomosphere of the island or travel out on a few tours; Stone Town Walking tour, Jozani Forest Tour, Sunset Dhow Cruise, Spice tour, perhaps visit the former family home of Freddie Mercury or a Zanzibar Slave tour learning about slavery that was once prevalent in Zanzibar.
Day 12 - Departure
A transfer is provided to the airport for your flight to London.
