  • A carefully planned itinerary that is a whistle stop tour of the majestic sand dunes at Sossusvlei in Namibia, the thunderous Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe and finishing with some spectacular wildlife viewing in Botswana. 

    The views of flying over the Okavango Delta when it is in full flood is a memory that will last forever, the best time to see this is from mid May through until October. The vistas, wildlife and natural wonders included within this safari trip will simply be an awesome experience.

  • The Iconic Red Dunes of Sossusvlei

    Watch as the first rays of the morning sun paint the mountains of sand in rich colour, and take the opportunity to walk up one of the dunes to capture the vast desert landscape below. 

  • Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

    Resting on the southern banks of the mighty Zambezi river at the western end of the eponymous falls of the same name, the popular tourist town of Victoria Falls is compact enough to walk around and makes and ideal base for travellers exploring the seventh wonder of the world.

  • Chobe National Park

    Chobe National Park was Botswana's first, the most biologically diverse and has one of the greatest concentrations of game in all of Africa.

  • Moremi Game Reserve

    The amazing foresight of Chief Moremi created one of the world’s most famous reserves, conserving part of the Okavango Delta and the plains to its east.

Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Travelling

    Take the flight to Johannesburg.

     

    Day 2 - Windhoek

    Staying at: Galton House Windhoek

    Connect in Johannesburg for your flight to Windhoek. After collecting your luggage, you will be transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the remaining part of the day at leisure.

     

    Days 3-4 - Sossusvlei

    Staying at: Hoodia Desert Lodge

    Leaving early this morning, you will be transferred to Hoodia Desert Lodge. The highlight in this area has to be the towering sand dunes and they MUST be seen at sunrise. Hoodia Desert Lodge will arrange a fantiastic trip to the dunes complete with a desert picnic lunch. Travel out with a professional guide who will inform you about the history of the dunes as well as telling you about the lizards, spiders, scorpians and other little species that make the dunes their home.  There is the opportunity to learn about all the flora and fauna that is encountered whilst exploring Sossusvlei.

    At the other end of the day, you can see the dunes as the sun sets, complimented with some scrumptious fresh snacks along with a sundowner drink. This would complete your day nicely when staying in the Sossusvlei region.

     

    Days 5-6 - Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

    Staying at: Batonka Guest Lodge

    Another early start as you are transferred back to Windhoek Airport to meet your flight to Victoria Falls, the Zimbabwe side.  After arranging your entry visa, you will be met in the arrivals hall for your transfer to Batonka Guest Lodge. This is wonderful lodge situated just over a mile away from the Victoria Falls. Batonka Guest Lodge offers a complimentary shuttle service twice daily to the town or Victoria Falls. If you feel like just relaxing for an afternoon or morning then there is always the very inviting swimming pool. Otherwise you may take part in many of the activities available in and around Victoria Falls.

  • Days 7-8 - Chobe River Front

    Staying at: Chobe Game Lodge

    Today you will be transferred over the border into Botswana and on to the Chobe National Park. This is the time to see elephants, lots of elephants as well as other game such as hippo, crocodile, various antelope, giraffe and a plethora of birds! The birdlife is also amazing in this location. There are a few optional activities included in your stay at Chobe Game Lodge, such as electric boat safaris along the Chobe River and morning and afternoon game drives.

     

    Days 9-10 - Moremi Game Reserve

    Staying at: Camp Moremi

    After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kasane Airport for your light aircraft transfer to the Moremi Game Reserve. Do look out for elephant and rhino as you fly over the Okavango Delta. Upon arrival at the airstrip you will be met and transferred to Camp Moremi. At Camp Moremi your home will be modern thatch style tents with a private deck area for you to while away the day.

    The team of guides, who are extremely experienced in their field, will take you out on game drives and will help you spot the elusive leopard, prides of lions or herds of Elephant that trundle through the reserve. Amongst the bigger game, you will see various antelope such as waterbuck, Kudu and Impala. As is Botswana generally the birdlife in the Moremi Game Reserve is prolific, we cherish the moments when you see the bright colours on the magnificient malachite kingfisher.

     

    Day 11 - Departure

    After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip where you'll take the light aircraft transfer to Maun. Connect with your flight to Johannesburg and then on to London.
