  • Coastal Kenya is spectacular. Rich in biodiversity, with stunning white sandy beaches, beautiful coral reefs, and coastal forests. The environmental wealth of the region gives reason to visit alone. For those who wish to dig a little deeper, you will find incredible archaeological heritage and a fascinating history.

Perhaps surprisingly, Kenya's coastline provides ample opportunity to find a stunning beach resort to unwind whilst sipping cocktails, and working on the perfect tan. The beaches provide access to over 200 square miles of reefs, which can be experienced with organised dives or simply with a mask and snorkel. Whilst beach resorts provide for a wonderfully relaxing holiday, they do not begin to scratch the surface of what the Kenyan coast can provide.

This region is steeped in history. From the UNESCO World heritage site of Fort Jesus, to the national park encompassing the mysterious abandoned city of Gedi, the whole coast features ruins of forts, mosques, tombs and towns - a multitude of which have barely been touched. Plenty opportunity for adventurers to explore and discover!
