Day 1 Sabie - travel via Witbank and Schoeman’s Kloof Pass and visit Sudwala Caves, rich in Zulu and Boer history then onwards via White River to the hotel for a superb evening meal. Dinner, overnight and breakfast: Lone Creek River Lodge or similar
Day 2 Kruger - after breakfast travel to the Mac-Mac Waterfalls and visit Pilgrims Rest before exploring the Panorama Route viewing the Blyde River Canyon, Three Rondavels, Bourke’s Luck Potholes and God's Window. On to the Hazyview area and a short game drive in the Kruger before dining under the stars in a traditional African Boma (weather permitting). Dinner, overnight and breakfast plus two game viewing activities: Protea Hotel Kruger Gate or similar
Day 3 Kruger - early game drive in the Kruger then after breakfast return for more game viewing en route to a private game lodge. Arrive in time for high tea and a late afternoon game drive in an open safari vehicle before returning to the lodge for dinner. Overnight and dinner, breakfast plus one game viewing activity: Bongani Mountain Lodge or similar
Day 4 Maputaland - an early game activity (optional extra) then after breakfast depart through Swaziland then via Pongola to your lodge, in time for a late afternoon game drive. Return for dinner served under an African sky (weather permitting). Dinner, overnight and breakfast plus two game activities: Ubizane Wildlife Reserve or similar
Day 5 Durban - after an early breakfast and safari, visit St Lucia for a river cruise on the estuary then pass through sugar cane plantations along the Indian Ocean coast towards Durban. Your tour finishes upon arrival at your hotel or Durban Airport.
