THE St JAMES
This fine country house hotel is directly located on the shores of Knysna Lagoon, the largest natural estuary in South Africa. The three acre estate has beautiful gardens offering peaceful walks, a large Koi pond and three swimming pools. Most Victorian style cottage rooms and courtyard suites have uninterrupted views of the lagoon.
Accommodation is either in the main Manor House or in a second building around a sheltered swimming pool. Most rooms have views of the lagoon.
A well stocked wine cellar compliments superb à la carte dining, with light lunches being served on the various patios and terraces. The facilities include fishing, boating and sun-downer cruises.
