Governors’ Camp is a collection of award winning safari camps and lodges, nestled in the forest alongside the winding banks of the Mara River.
Accommodation
All 37 tents either line the riverbank, with uninterrupted views over the Mara River or have views across the sweeping plains. The entire camp is under canvas with the comforts expected of a luxury hotel.
Designed in the classic 'safari style' tents offer large, bright accommodation with en suite bathrooms with hot and cold running water and flushing toilets.
Activities
Located inside the reserve Governors’ Camp offers the best Game viewing in the Masai Mara, with sunrise, late morning and late afternoon. Hot Air Balloon safaris are also available at extra cost.
In our opinion...Governor's has built a reputation on the highest quality and levels of standard, and deservedly so. The Main Camp can be quite busy but Governor's also offer accommodation in 2 satellite Camps which are smaller and quieter; Little Governor's and Il Moran Camps.
