Jongomero Camp Ruaha National Park
Superbly isolated on the banks of a seasonal sand river, offering total privacy lies Jongomero Camp. The Camp consists of eight large and well-appointed tented suites, built on raised wooden platforms with large thatched roofs and spacious private veranda's.
The dining and living areas are both original and very comfortable and offer a great view of the African bush and the animals that pass on their way to the sand river. As does the natural "hippo friendly" swimming pool.
The Camp itself is not fenced and animals are free to pass through as they please. Elephants are daily and nightly visitors as are vast herds of Buffalo. Occasionally, Lion pass through the camp and once in a while, the tracks of a leopard can be seen winding down the main pathway, as they make their way through the camp.
