JACKALBERRY LODGE
Located on teh Thornybush Reserve, Jackalberry Lodge has seven rooms under thatch with semi open air bathrooms. The majestic backdrop of the Drakensberg Mountains make this rustic camp an exceptional part of the bushveld.

Each of the chalets is air-conditioned and boasts private safes, tea and coffee making facilities, corner baths, stocked mini bars and large mosquito nets.

Families are easily accommodated in the family chalet. This chalet has 2 bedrooms with a bathroom and is ideal for families travelling with younger children. The bedrooms are fitted with queen size and 2 single beds.

The standard chalets are all fitted with en-suite bathrooms complete with double hand basins, corner baths and indoor and outdoor showers. The chalets are fitted with either twin or king size beds (on request). The Luxury Suite is perfect for honeymoon couples. Relax in the private lounge or look out over the African bush from your private patio.

More than 60 species of wildlife are found on this vast reserve including lion, leopard, buffalo, cheetah, rhino and elephant as well as several delightful and unusual species of fauna and flora.

Game drives or walking safaris, undertaken by highly trained rangers and trackers, offer the privilege of experiencing a true bushveld environment. Jackalberry is also a paradise for bird-watchers, where more than 280 species have been recorded.
