An extensive 15 day guided tour show casing some of South Africa’s finest locations and includes game viewing in the Kruger National Park and Hluhluwe–Umfolozi Game Reserve.

Day 1: Depart from the UK on an overnight flight to Johannesburg

Day 2: Depart Johannesburg and travel to the Kruger region, via the magnificent Panorama Route. Stop at Blyde River Canyon and view the 33 km long gorge, which starts at “Bourke’s Luck Potholes” and ends at the “Three Rondavels”.

Day 3: Early this morning you will depart on an open vehicle safari through the Kruger National Park.

Day 4: After breakfast, travel to the Royal Kingdom of Swaziland. Enjoy a showcase of the traditional Swazi culture followed by lunch at the Matsamo Cultural Village.

Day 5: Enjoy a morning visit to the Swazi Candle Factory where each candle is made and finished by hand using the age-old technique “millefiore”. After travelling into KwaZulu Natal, embark on an afternoon scenic drive up the Ubombo Mountains, offering views over Lake Jozini.

Day 6: Morning at leisure. This afternoon transfer to the Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve for an afternoon of game viewing.

Day 7: Continue the journey along the Elephant Coast of KwaZulu Natal to St Lucia - a World Heritage Site. Here you embark on an boat trip and have an opportunity to view crocodiles, hippo and numerous bird species, including the elusive African Fish Eagle, in their natural habitat. Continue to Durban in the afternoon.

Day 8: This morning you will embark on a brief Durban City Tour where you will spend the morning discovering the cultural and historical contrasts of the city. Fly from Durban to Port Elizabeth. Transfer to your hotel, afternoon at leisure.

Day 9: Travel to the beautiful Tsitsikamma National Park. Enjoy a walk along the suspension bridge across the Storms River gorge, offering incredible views and photo opportunities. Continue to Plettenberg Bay for your overnight stay.

Day 10: After breakfast, visit the Knysna Elephant Park. Here you can touch, feed and photograph these gentle giants. After lunch (own account), travel to Plettenberg Bay for a visit to Birds of Eden – the largest free-flight bird aviary in the world.

Day 11: Embark on a fun and adventurous lagoon cruise to  the Knysna Heads (weather permitting). On your return to the mainland, continue to Oudtshoorn, the ‘ostrich capital’ of the world’. Enjoy a guided Ostrich farm tour before checking into your overnight hotel.

Day 12: Enjoy a morning tour of the Cango Caves before departing Oudtshoorn. Afterward, travel via the Route 62 wine trail to Barrydale for lunch (to own account). Arrive in Cape Town around 18h00.

Day 13: This morning enjoy on a full day Cape Point & Peninsula Tour. Return to your hotel late afternoon.

Day 14: Today you embark on a full day Cape Winelands Tour. Visit the heart of the Cape Winelands through superb mountain ranges, vineyards and Cape Dutch homesteads. Return to Cape Town during the late afternoon.

Day 15: After check out take a Cape Town city tour – a geographical and cultural extravaganza. Your tour ends with drop-off at Cape Town International Airport in time for your evening flight to the UK.

Tour price from £2,535 per person sharing a double room. Single room supplement from £640 per single room. The tour price includes 1 lunch, 7 dinners and 13 breakfasts.
