The hotel is relaxed and friendly, more like a home from home than a hotel, but with all the facilities you could need. The staff are happy to assist with any requests you may have, such as booking restaurants, arranging transfers or suggesting excursions.

Built in 1903, Four Rosmead is a classified provincial monument that has been sensitively and stylishly re-modelled. The result is a Cape contemporary classic with a rich history. The interiors have a modern African spirit which is complimented by the original artworks by local artists which are displayed throughout the property.

In the evening complimentary sherry and port is served in the lounge area, where there is music and a selection of books.

Accommodation consists of four deluxe and three luxury bedrooms all with en suite facilities and extra length queen or twin beds. Some of the rooms have their own private patio areas and all are equipped to the highest standard with mini bars, TV and DVD players and broadband wireless internet access. Some rooms have fireplaces. There is one garden suite with its own lounge, private patio and outdoor shower.

Enjoy the sunshine in the secluded garden area with plenty of space to soak up the sun or take a dip in the salt water swimming pool. The garden had a distinctly Mediterranean feel with shady corners, fragrant lavender borders and a raised pond – an urban sanctuary where guests can relax and unwind.
Breakfast is either served on the patio overlooking the pool or in the breakfast room, with a wide choice of cold meats, cereals, pastries and fruits as well as the cooked breakfast menu. Evening meals can be arranged.

Four Rosmead also has a treatment room and a therapist can be brought in to offer spa treatments and massages with 24 hours notice.
