Botswana Escorted Tours - Five River Safari

Day 1 Songwe Village - transfer from Livingstone by road to Songwe Village, which looks over the Batoka Gorge a few kilometres downstream from the Falls. Enjoy local African cultures and activities including river rafting, canoeing, cruises, fishing and elephant back safaris.

Day 2 & 3 Impalila Island Lodge - travel upstream to the Kazungula ferry this is the border junction of Namibia, Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Cross to Kasane on the banks of the famous Chobe River then cruise over to secluded Impalila Island Lodge where the amazing waterways, flood plains and bushveld offer superb game viewing and fishing.

Day 4 & 5 Susuwe Island Lodge - depart on a scenic air transfer over the Zambezi flood plains and Caprivi Strip to Susuwe Island Lodge on the Kwando River. Enjoy exciting game drives, walking and boat trips in the Bwabwata National Park and world-class hospitality at this remote lodge.

Day 6 Lianshulu Lodge - a picturesque drive to this lodge’s thatched chalets on the banks of the Kwando River in Mudumu National Park. Wonderful service and food compliment outstanding river and land based activities plus excellent bird watching.

Day 7 & 8 Kwando Lagoon or Lebala Camp - two luxury tented camps in intimate 'vintage Africa' style in an exclusive concession. Here, exceptional game experiences with professional guides and trackers introduce an area famous for its high concentration of elephant, buffalo and predators.

Day 9 & 10 Kwando Kwara Camp - transfer by light aircraft to Kwara Camp in the heart of the permanent water of the Okavango Delta where eight luxury tents are located under a canopy of large shady trees. They offer mokoro trips into the Delta and power-boat rides into Moremi.

Day 11 & 12 Xakanaxa Camp - embark on a boat transfer to the Xakanaxa Lagoon where this renowned camp is situated on a peninsula in the heart of the Moremi Wildlife Reserve. This camp offers a full range of water-based activities, as well as guided game drives in an area known for its predators.

Day 13 & 14 Deception Valley Lodge - transfer by light aircraft into the vast landscapes of the Kalahari Desert and Deception Valley Lodge, where Bushmen will enthral you with their bush skills. Here you will enjoy fine cuisine, luxurious accommodation and excellent game viewing.
Day 15 - a short light aircraft flight to Maun where this tour ends.
